#1 How to define an alternate language for a submission form

NOTE: If you do not see the Languages/Alt. Labels option, the multi-language feature has not been enabled on your X-CD site. If you have subscribed to the add-on multi-language feature, submit a support ticket for this feature to be enabled.

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Speaker module
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click Languages/Alt. Labels in horizontal menu
  5. Click Create Additional System Language button or Add New Language button
  6. Enter a label for the new language e.g. French
  7. In the Change Language Screen Text field enter the label for the drop down screen e.g. Francais

#2 How to create alternate language labels?

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Speaker module
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click Languages/Alt. Labels in the horizontal menu
  5. If there are multiple languages defined, click on the Language you wish to update labels for; otherwise skip to next step
  6. Click on the button for a section to update the labels e.g. Screen Content
  7. Enter new labels, as desired
    • Note: the default text will be overwritten. You will not be able to recover the previous content.
  8. Scroll down, click Submit button to save changes.

HINT: use Ctrl-F to quickly find the text you wish to change.

Overview

X-CD can provide options to show form labels in another language. If you have subscribed to the multi-language feature, the Language module will allow you to define labels in an alternate language.
